The strangest aspect of the Bible, for me, is that God punishes people with death for being evil, but then he goes on punishing people with death for no offense other than just being alive. And finally, he allows disasters to happen to both seemingly good and evil people without any distinction between them.
Also, that whole 'Holy Trinity' thing still baffles me. How can Jesus sit at the right hand of God when he is God? And who exactly are the Holy Spirits? Are they a cheer squad for God, the remnants of a bunch of dead people with nothing better to do, or leftovers from Zeus' pantheon whom the Catholic church merely adapted into angels and saints to appease a prior faith's members?
