Sure, it was great for the average American swallowing the lies that the pilgrims and Indians peacefully ate Thanksgiving together instead of the genocide and murders which might make the story a lot less fitting for a dinnertime discussion.

And of course, now that racism, sexism, and scapegoating immigrants can be swept under the Trump table abounding with patriots and Christian Nationalists touting their cultural significance and importance, it's gonna be great again, right? The question still remains--great for whom?
