So we're both from Italian heritage, right? My father was fisrt generation American and was treated with extreme prejudice and discriminated against. However, my generation was rarely subjected to this treatment, despite having the same heritage. In contrast, Black Americans have been treated deplorably in the past and still are in some ways currently. They have every right to ask for better treatment and to speak their truths about attrocities and discrimination or request reparations. Isreal was supported greatly after the Holocaust, despite some opposition, by many in America including the government, but what has America done for Black Americans?
