So, I once attended a book club with a bunch of Catholic (which I was formerly) women, and nearly the entire time we were supposed to discuss books, they would complain about their husbands who did little to care for their children and how they could barely get out of the house without the kids, even for the 1.5 hours of bookclub -- and then they would slam pro-choice women and fund raise to end abortion through enacting laws.

I had to depart from the group soon after learning what they were about.
