People focus on the Catholic church because of the way they handled molestation. They shifted pedophiles around to avoid detection and attention and allowed them to further have access to more victims. This is appalling as it destroyed many children's lives.

I was raised Catholic but no longer attend their church. As a woman I find their attitudes towards women horrible and oppressive.

I don't think religion or being a conservative and embracing trickle-down economics is the only way to have structure, rules, and order in one's life, but if it works for you, I can understand. We can agree to disagree on these points.
