Okay, so in the story of Lot where God is said to have appeared along with two angels to assess the people of the city, was he not in a human form?
As far as Greek myths, Zeus supposedly appeared as various animals to seduce mortal women -- a swan, ant, fish, etc. Since this is biologically impossible to breed cross species, and since these women were noted to have given birth to babies, how would you explain this phenomena other than an attempt to link God to certain individuals via divine births?
Obviously, Zoroaster's mother did not just swim in water, spontaneously impregnate, and then give birth. This is extremely unlikely, nearly impossible. So, these divine births, or so noted in there times, we linked to the Gods and their intimate interactions with women, or so the myths state.
How exactly do you think the Christian God impregnated Mary (who herself was said to be from a virgin birth)? And if Mary is indeed the product of a virgin birth, than why is Jesus considered God and she is not?
If you find my comments "disingenuous" than why don't you simply disregard them? As I previously noted, I am not here to challenge your beliefs. Believe whatever you want and I will do the same.
