Morality is not tied to church attendance. I've met child molesters, wife and child beaters, and other criminals in my childhood Catholic church that exemplified how much organized religion fails to create moral behavior. Hell, the monsignor used to get drunk with my mob father, and when the monsignor didn't they didn't mention his diseased liver.
After leaving the Catholic church many year back, I live what I consider a simple, honest, helpful life and strive to help anyone who needs me. I don't need a church to explain what is right or wrong--just like many others who find their own path and wander away from the church.
