Life is about more than possible viability. Conceptions happen all of the time, but many spontaneously self-abort, possibly upwards of 50%. Why is it that pro-life individuals only concern themselves about the ones that women choose to terminate and not those that do not ever implant or terminate themselves? And for that matter, why not focus on helping women who want to carry a pregnancy to term and live in poverty or face other challenges instead of harping on the women who feel they cannot carry a successful pregnancy and/or raise a child and whom chose abortion? Why don't we let women make thier choices, based on the advice of their doctors and on thier own consciences? Illegal abortions preceeded the 1973 legal, safe kind and were brutal and dangerous. Women need to have options and be supported, period.
