I find that many female libidos crash right around the time a wife feels like every thankless chore is unceremoniously heaped upon her with little to no support or appreciation. And that's right about the time that she realizes that her dreams and desires are unimportant to the man she married. She's a household fuction, like a washing machine to him, not an independent person with needs and ambitions all her own.

My ex once asked me why I needed to ski because I might get injured and not be able to take care of our son adaquately. Then he told me he wasn't interested in hearing about an article I was writing because it had nothing to do with his interests.
