I am in the gray divorce camp. The ex is now married to a younger women and has a 2 year old. Bless his heart -- I wouldn't be him if you paid me a shitload of money and gave me a brand, new BMW (which is what he totes his newest offspring around town in).

Although the blind-siding, devestating divorce rocked me to the core after a 27 year relationship, it's done now and I am living a more lively, enjoyable existence. I just started my new business and am flourishing. Sometimes, it is scary to be out here doing what I am, but scary is better than a slow death in a dull, passionless marriage that sucked the joy out of me like a sippy cup straw.
