Growing up in LA, the drug culture around the movie industry was quite prevalent. In my first rental house, one roommate was a stunt man whose friends never stopped partying.

One child star who died of an OD this past year was at the house freebasing drugs when he was barely more than a kid. That culture held no appeal for me, but sadly some seemed caught up in it.
